Who's #BOSUstrong?

I had happy visions of running with Ellie all summer.  She was going to come to my Thursday evening running group with me...it was going to be great family fun!  Randy would run with Aleena while she rode her bike and I'd run with Ellie.

Then the stress fracture happened.

No Thursday running group.  No running with my kid.

This made us both sad.

Enter Sweat Pink and BOSU.  I've been given the opportunity to share workouts with my daughters using the BOSU and the BOSU Sport!

Disclaimer: This post was sponsored by BOSU but all opinions expressed are my own. I truly appreciate all of the brands that support the Sweat Pink community.

Ellie and Aleena were both thrilled when the BOSU and BOSU Sport were deliveredThe BOSU Sport is a smaller version of the BOSU.  Perfect for kids!  My little ladies couldn't wait to get their feet on the BOSU.

Bosu is hosting a #BOSUstrong Instagram Challenge that runs until October 9th.  If you're on Instagram, I encourage you to participate in the challenge!  If you don't have a BOSU, that's ok.  You will have the chance to win one!

To participate, check out this schedule of Instagram prompts and when you post, be sure to tag @Bosu_Fitness on Instagram and @BosuFitness on Twitter and use the hashtags #BOSUstrong, #FitFamily and #SweatPink.

Happy Instagramming!

Do you have a BOSU?

Skirt Sports Virtual Boobie Run

I adore all things Skirt Sports.  I adore the high quality-lasts-forever clothing.  I adore the amazing women who run the company.  I adore the community involvement.  I adore Skirt Sports.

You may not be aware, but Skirt Sports has a birthday coming up!  Eleven years ago on September 12th, Nicole DeBoom, the founder of Skirt Sports, wore the first ever prototype of a running skirt to compete and win Ironman Wisconsin.  The rest is history.

What does this have to do with boobies?  I'm glad you asked.

As you know, October is breast cancer awareness month.  Skirt Sports thought it would be fun to spend their birthday celebrating boobs (a little early)!  This race is all about the bra!

The Boobie Run has two distance options, 8 miles or 8 kilometers (about 5 miles). When you sign up for the Virtual Boobie Run, you'll receive a $70 Skirt Sports gift certificate to use on a new sports bra!  I really like the Kelly Bra.

Kelly B-DD Bra
Registration for the Boobie Run is $60 and you can save 20% with the code SSRRMR20 to bring your registration down to $48 and you still get the $70 gift certificate!  What a deal!

When you register, your gift certificate will be immediately emailed to you.  Happy shopping!

Skirt Sports is having a local event as well as the virtual.  If you're in the Boulder, CO area, check out the details here.
