Our local Whole Foods has awesome (and free) events for kids about once a month. Often they are season-themed: they had reindeer come visit in December (that was super neat)
and they've had a beach party in the summer (complete with a sprinkler and sand box).
This past weekend, they had a carnival for the kiddos. The carnival was to raise money for their Whole Planet Foundation (while most times, the events are free, this one required a small donation). For $5, each kid got an arm-span of tickets. The kids used the tickets to "pay" for fun activities, like:
Face Painting
Ball Toss
They also had a tattoo table, go fish game, sucker pull and tons and tons of prizes for the kids! (We had leftover tickets, so there was no worries of not having enough tickets to participate in all of the activities.) The Kids Klub is just one of the many, many reasons we love Whole Foods. (Another reason: have you tried the pecan crusted tilapia?! I drool a little just thinking about it.)
Do you have a local Whole Foods? Have you checked it out? What other stores do you just love?
I was not compensated, nor was I asked to write a review for Whole Foods Market. All opinions are my own.

Thanks so much for the great post, Jamie! We really appreciate all your support.
ReplyDeleteHope to see you at next month's Kid's Klub events :)

You're very welcome! We very much enjoy your events!
DeleteThat sounds great! I'll have to keep that in mind when Avery gets a little older!
ReplyDeleteFor sure, Mandy! Some events and activities are geared toward elementary aged kids, but my ladies still enjoy themselves. :)
